As many of you know, I (we) kept a journal/blog during our trip to Belarus & Ukraine last year.  For those who didn't see it here is the link: http://donnhoward.blogspot.com/.

In January we went to Panama City, Panama for a long weekend.  It was inauguration weekend, but we had planned the trip long before we knew Obama would be the Democratic Candidate, and ultimately the U.S. President.  Enough with my mea culpas!!  It was nice to be watching the inaugural festivities from the comfort of our hotel and watching on my laptop instead of standing in the cold and watching on a jumbotron.

With my work scheduled being somewhat unpredictable this year, we have not made any decisions about travelling this spring.  If we can swing it we are thinking about a 7-day Alaska cruise with an additional 7 days in Portland and other places nearby.
